Welcome to the March issue of the CCIE Flyer

by Eman

The March issue of the CCIE Flyer has been fun for Dan and me. We have enjoyed our February as usual by adding another year to our history; yup we were both born in the same month 2 years apart. The success of the toy we enjoy playing with each month, the CCIE Flyer is also a real treat for us. We have had over 40,000 unique sessions in February and this is a real humbling experience for me. I had no idea when I asked him to join me in creating the CCIE Flyer that we would have such a strong readership. Having crossed this threshold I am happy to say we have advertisers now as well as some great support from Quatro Systems, Micronics and Voice Boot Camp. I am truly amazed at the great fun this is and the fact that we have attracted such great article contributors. Read Oleg’s articles and you will see why I was so impressed by his work at BANI, read Terry’s bits and you will feel his wisdom oozing from the screen, follow Nickelby as he approaches his CCIE journey with us, my Career Diva, Eve is my muse and she inspired me as a writer, Vik has been hip deep into his updates to the Voice teaching materials he uses to train his classes, Caue has returned from the jungles to a real life, Diane and Barham two of the first women CCIEs, so culturally diverse and yet so much alike, and you. You reading this and me writing this is a real phenomenon I get goose bumps even thinking about it.

Why the CCIE Flyer?

It all started when I had an idea for recruiting CCIEs. I know that most CCIEs rely on their networks to get around and that they could not really get where they wanted to by using the job boards. The majority of postings are third party recruiting firms just casting nets into an unknown arena hoping to snag a prize. There is a lot of value in knowing who you are working with. So as much as the CCIE Flyer is about CCIEs, it is also about me. So you can learn about who I am and how I can enhance your career. I am a supply sided recruiter, more like an agent than a headhunter. The CCIE Flyer helps you keep up with what and where the action is and now with added technical articles even some knowledge sharing. But most of all the CCIE Flyer is a vehicle for change in the way CCIEs are represented.

So for March wish Dan and me a happy birthday and enjoy these pages. If you would like to advertise or post articles give me a holler. If you would like to suggest changes I am all ears, if you would like to add a link to or from your blog let me know.

A real big thank you to the readers of the CCIE Flyer from me and Dan!

Now get back to work damn it!
